Mailing list: to hear about all events, sign up for the group mailing list. Perimeter institute researcher can contact Perimeter IT to be added to the group mailing list. IQC or UW affiliated researchers can contact the group admin.
Weekly schedule: From September until May we have a weekly seminar series; recent seminars can be viewed on PIRSA. Group members can contact the current group admin about registering to give a talk. Group lunch is held after the retreat in the bistro each week (conveniently timed to coincide with burger day at the bistro).
Kick-off day: In September or October of each year we host a 1 day event welcoming new students and postdocs to the group. New members give short talks, we break into discussion groups, and conclude with an evening social. Entering members are welcome to contact the group admin about registering for the kick-off.
Research retreat: In January or February each year there is a 1 week, off-site, research retreat hosted by the QI group. We typically have some quantum matter, gravity, or foundations projects with a QI component as well. This is an opportunity for group members to dive into a new project with new collaborators, or to hole up for a week and finish that long overdue paper.
