Perimeter QI

Hi everyone,

We are introducing a new website dedicated to quantum information at Perimeter Institute! Hopefully the site will make it easier for members to keep on top of what’s happening in the group, and easier for students interested in coming to Perimeter to get a sense of the environment we offer at PI.

This blog will serve as one way in which group members can disseminate their research around the group, and beyond. Group members interested in writing a post should reach out anytime.

I am also excited about the new arXiv feed highlighting quant-ph papers from PI+IQC. Note that the feed looks at the html version of recent arXiv papers, so if your paper’s html page doesn’t get created successfully, the paper feed will miss it. If anyone is interested in improving this tool, please let me know!

In making the website, I went through our alumni data for the first time to see where our former group members have gone on to. You can check out the list of alumni yourself, but needless to say I was deeply impressed with this list, and the fact that apparently every single one of our alumni has gone on to a successful career of some kind or another.

If you notice any information which is inaccurate or missing from the alumni page, the current group members, etc, please let me know.
